Hi. We don’t really put up reviews but this time we just want to appreciate Mr. Safi Ishaksay a technician from Hypro Drains who came to work on our sump pump. He is absolutely awesome and a very knowledgeable tech on what he does. I watch him do the work and asked a lots of questions and he patiently answered all on his knowledge, very helpful and very professional. Thank you to Hypro Drains.

This is my second time calling in Hy-Pro to help me out. I needed two washroom sink faucets replaced. I could probably do it myself but I'm a busy parent and can't seem to carve out the time, so we called to see if Hy-Pro could come out over the next week or so. As luck would have it, they were available same day to squeeze us in for a non-emergency call. A few hours later, I'm in the capable hands of Eric Nigh. After a quick consultation and look around, he proposed a few options, I signed off, and he got right to work. Despite some seized valves and a tiny space under the vanity, he was in and out in time for me to turn the water back on and get dinner going for my kids. He even had time to answer some pesky homeowner questions about our future plans for a remodel and sent me a quote afterwards to cost out a softener replacement. While I could have saved money stumbling my way through the installations, I was happy to pay for speed, expertise, friendly advice, no extra trips to the hardware store, and a job that doesn't leak the first time you turn the water back on. As a parent, I appreciate that Eric gave me several hours of my time and sanity back.

We called up Hy-Pro due to a sewer drain being clogged, the tech Ben arrived ahead of schedule, explained exactly what he was going to be doing, even wore boot covers through the house! He got right to work. After a while of trying to use the power snake and camera he determined the line had collapsed or large tree roots in the system. The house is over 110 years old with original piping. Ben had suggested we dig to fix the collapsed area outside, we agree and thats when Ian stepped in to assist us with our options, very professional and easy to work with and not pushy. The following day at 8am sharp they had a crew on-site to dig up and replace our entire main sewer line, the guys were quick, polite, and walked us through step by step. They were completely wrapped up by 430pm and we had full service returned. The crew cleaned up the area once finished, we have absolutely no complaints! And to top it off we received a call the following day from Joseph asking how everything went, very professional comapny ans staff, pricing was also reasonable compared to others out there. We would highly recommend Hy-Pro! Ps. Sorry for the long review.

Another leak in the basement and we knew Hy-Pro would be able to help, called at 6:45 at night and Masharo was here by 8 and everything was fixed up by 9:20. So happy with the service. Had Jermaine stop by to check out what I thought was plumbing issue as I had heard a dripping noise coming from behind my drywall, which was located right under my bathroom upstairs. Given that I had previous plumbing issues with my toilet in the past, I was convinced that it might’ve been a leak somewhere. He took the time to listen and to inspect in my bathroom/gaming room down below, he also checked my crawl space to find where the pipes lead to. He explained that it likely isn’t a leaking issue, but rather it’s an HVAC expansion noise that’s been happening and that he ran into that in his own experience and that it was a very similar sound. He said he could’ve taken part of the wall out to do a diagnostic, but he didn’t think that was appropriate as he thinks a leak wasn’t the cause of the noise. He was very respectful, polite, humorous and very honest to let me know that nothing seemed to be in immediate need of danger or concern. He told me to reach out if I do seem to see any further problems or issues in my ceiling/wall, but for now, it should be fine! He was awesome, hopefully I am able to get him again if I have any other future plumbing problems (which hopefully I don’t, knock on wood!), thanks Hy-Pro and Jermaine! 🙂

We had an issue with our shower water temperature control. Steve investigated thoroughly and explained what was needed. He is very meticulous in both how he performed the repair and the cleanup afterward. This is the second time we have used Hy-Pro and both of these experiences were very positive. Our shower stall drain was not draining properly. Called Joseph at Hy Pro Plumbing & Drains. He had a tech out the next morning. The techs name was Masharo Campbell. He was punctual, knowledgeable, efficient and cleared the drain. This was Oct.02. All was good for a week and then the draining issue started to re-appear. Called Janice at Hy Pro this morning(Oct.15) and Masharo was here by 12:45 and snaked the drain again. Big improvement right away. All these employees are fantastic. Very understanding and quickly got the issue addressed. Highly recommend this company.

I called Hy-Pro Plumbing & Drain in Brantford at 9 a.m. and Nick and Owen arrived just before 10 a.m. They wore shoe protectors, were polite and professional, and finished the job quickly—even tackling a tight crawl space without complaint. They also gave clear after-care instructions to help prevent future issues. Highly recommend!

Our experience of this company was extremely positive they did an excellent job replacing the main waste pipe from our house to the street. This job took four days and involved digging an right foot deep trench which stretched over 30 feet to the street. It took four days in 30 degree weather. Throughout the job we were kept informed of how it was developing and consulted about key decisions. I would highly recommend using this company for all of your plumbing needs!! We will definitely use them again just hope it's not any time in the near future!!
